Centenary Concert - 14th June 2008

The Hade Edge Band was formed 100 years ago in 1908 (see our History page). Being as in the last seven or eight years the band has grown enormously to encompass two junior bands, a jazz group, a choir, and a brand new purpose-built bandroom, it puts us in a terrific position to stage a huge concert to mark the occasion.

The Centenary concert will take place on the evening of the 14th June at 7:30pm at Huddersfield Town Hall, with guest soloist David Childs, principle euphonium with the Cory Band and acclaimed international soloist.

The concert will be free (but tickets need to be booked), although there will be a special, commemorative programme for the concert that will be £2 and a collection during the interval.
