I have been advised that the Durham Miners Gala for 2021 will not take place due to continued concerns regarding the number of people congregating in one area due to Covid-19. The Gala was due to take place on Saturday July 10th in Durham City. It is hoped that the event will return to the City in 2022 when it will celebrate 150 years of Gala day. Hade Edge Band do hope so as the band enjoy this event and joining with the people of Sacriston village who are great company and friends of the band.
